Ceremony in the garden
Sunflowers, a windmill, live music, two grooms. Short and sincere — we have a feast to get to.

Cocktail hour
Three signature drinks (each with a cat behind it), snacks, and golden light while the garden resets for dinner.

Dinner at sunset
Tables of eight, a whole-pig feast, and the sun going down at exactly 6:00 while you're mid-plate. We planned it that way.

Sun schedule, because we're that kind of couple: golden hour 5:23 · sunset 6:00 · dark by 6:28. And November 6 is the last night of daylight saving time — clocks fall back at 2 AM, so the after-party refunds you a full hour of sleep.
After-Party
10 PM — late. Very late.
Barn Disco: karaoke, late-night snacks, incredible lighting.
The location is being scouted — either a spot in midtown near the hotels, or a barn somewhere southeast of the city where nobody can tell us to turn it down. Either way: denim encouraged, at least one shiny thing, glow accessories provided. The grooms open the karaoke with a duet, the buses handle all driving, and hydration will be aggressive.
Pro move: bring a comfy outfit change for the after-party — and a warm layer. November midnight is no joke.

Asked & answered
What do I wear?
Garden-party cocktail. If you want to lean into our palette: tans, sages and eucalyptus greens, burnt orange, sunflower yellow, deep green — but wear what makes you feel great. Two practical notes: the ceremony and dinner are on a lawn (block heels over stilettos), and it drops into the 50s after sunset, so bring a layer you love. After-party: Barn Disco — denim, one shiny thing minimum.
Are kids welcome?
Yes! And supervised: there's a pool on the property, so a certified lifeguard is on duty from first arrival, and we'll have sitters plus a quiet movie room inside for the 8 PM fade-outs. Kids get their own menu.
What if it rains?
Early November in Sacramento is usually kind (mid-60s, mostly clear), but we hold a tent reservation just in case. The party happens regardless of what the sky does.
Do I have to sing karaoke?
No. But you'll want to once you've had a Gravy Boat, and we will hand you the mic with love. The grooms go first so nobody else has to be brave.
Will the cats be there?
Gravy, Biscuit, and Jellybean will be home ruling the kingdom, but each sends a signature drink in their stead. Toast accordingly.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We'll have a wonderful photographer, so we'd love your eyes, not your phones, for the 35 minutes of ceremony. After that: document everything, tag us relentlessly.
